Faculty are at the core of AMCH. They bring extensive experience in homeopathy, clinical treatment and teaching to our programs. A core value of AMCH is the success of students. Faculty are critical to this aspect of our college, and are trained and encouraged to work with students to ensure their success.

  • Roger Morrison MD

    Faculty Member; Academic Affairs Consultant

    Dr. Morrison was born on February 21, 1954 at 10:21am in Rochester, NY. He grew up in Tennessee and attended medical school there, graduating in 1978. In his early career, he worked as an emergency room physician for several years. During this time Dr. Morrison also did much of the preparatory work for his calling as a homeopath. In 1978, while still in medical training, Dr. Morrison attended his first seminar on homeopathy in Athens. It was at this seminar that he determined to study at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine - the foremost center for homeopathy in the world. This center was created and run by the world's most renowned homeopath - George Vithoulkas. Dr. Morrison spent four years learning to speak Greek and then completed a two year fellowship at the center in Athens. During his stay, Dr. Morrison became one of the top assistants at the center, eventually earning the prestigious diploma of the Athenian Center. Upon completion of his fellowship in 1984, Dr. Morrison returned to the United States to assist in the establishment of the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. He divides his time between his practice at the clinic, teaching at the college and at other institutions and writing. Dr. Morrison lectures throughout the world on many aspects of homeopathy.Dr. Morrison has published some 20 articles in homeopathic journals throughout the world since 1984.
  • Cilla Whatcott HD (RHom), CCH

    Faculty member

    Cilla Whatcott, HD (RHom) CCH is a board certified classical homeopath and a graduate of Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy. She holds a bachelors degree from Arizona State University and has a private homeopathic practice in Chaska, Minnesota. Cilla teaches classes in homeopathy at Normandale Community College and is certified in CEASE therapy for clearing vaccine damage. She’s a member of the National Center for Homeopathy and the Minnesota Homeopathic Association. She is the co-author of “The Solution - Homeoprophylaxis: The Vaccine Alternative.”
  • Mary Ellen Coulter MD, BS

    Faculty Member; Academic Affairs Consultant

    Dr. Mary Ellen Coulter is a Family Practice Physician with a specialty in Classical Homeopathy. She treats her patients in a holistic manner which includes instruction in diet, nutrition, supplements, and the use of manual therapies. Where possible, her focus is on homeopathic treatment. She trained at the International foundation for Homeopathy (a 1 year course in 1991) and followed that with a 2 year course by Paul Herscu in Seattle. She attended the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy in Berkeley, CA for a 4 year degree in Classical Homeopathy. She attended a 2 year course with Lou Klein in San Francisco. Coulter traveled to Kenya for two years and worked in clinics where homeopathic therapy was primarily used . This experience, motivated her to study global health and promote the expansion of homeopathy as a safe, effective, cost effective and practical therapy in these settings.
  • Kat Birch RSHom(NA), CCH

    Kat Birch has been registered with the North American Society of Homeopaths since 1996 and is Certified in Classical Homeopathy (CCH) by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. She is past vice president of the North American Society of Homeopaths and remains the liaison to the International Council of Homeopathy. She is the author of the recently published book Vaccine Free Prevention and Treatment of Infectious Contagious Disease with Homeopathy. Kate has been teaching homeopathy in lecture and classroom setting locally and internationally since 1994 and currently focuses her time expanding public awareness into the efficacy of homeopathy for disease prevention. She lives and practices homeopathy in Minnesota, USA.

  • Valeria Breiten

    Faculty Member

    Dr. Valeria Breiten is a Naturopathic Physician and Registered Dietitian. She has practiced homeopatþ since 1995. In Oregon she studied with Deborah Gordon, MD, Willa Esterson CCH ( now Keizer) and Durr Elmore, ND. She published a nationally distributed newsletter, Better Health thru Homeopathy and was the Northwest Regional Study Group coordinator. Dr. Breiten came to Arizonain 1997 to attend Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, graduating in 2001. She worked as an HMA supervised by Dr. Todd Rowe for two years while in medical school and was on the board for the Phoenix area homeopathy study group. She was adjunct faculty for the Desert Institute School of Classical Homeopatþ when it opened in 1999 until 2002. She attended Hahnemann College of Homeopatþ in 2001 and 2002. She has been practicing as a Naturopathic Physician in Chandler, Arizona for eleven years.
  • Iris Bell MD, MD(H), PhD

    Chair of Research Department

    Dr. Bell graduated with an AB degree in biology from Harvard University, magna cum laude. She then received her PhD in Neuro- and Biobehavioral Sciences and her MD from Stanford University. After completing her psychiatry residency at the University of California - San Francisco, Dr. Bell served as a faculty member at the University of California - San Francisco and, later, at Harvard Medical School. She is board-certified in psychiatry, with added qualification in geriatric psychiatry. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles, as well as over a dozen book chapters, and a monograph on environmental chemical sensitivity. She has received grant funding from the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and numerous private foundations on topics ranging from nutrition in dementia and depression to the neurobiology of environmental illness to individual difference predictors of excellent outcomes during classical homeopathic treatment. Dr. Bell is currently Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology, Medicine, Family & Community Medicine, and Public Health as well as Director of Research for the Program in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She also directs an NIH-funded T32 Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Training Grant for predoctoral and postdoctoral fellows.
  • Cheri Newton

    Cheri Newton completed her Diploma in Homeopathy at the School of Homeopathy, New York, studying with great homeopathic mentors like Jeremy Sherr, Misha Norland, Sadhna Thakkars and Jo Daly, to name a few. She has brought her skills in mentoring and her enthusiasm for Homeopathy together in order to help educate Tucsonans about Classical Homeopathy.
  • Greg Meyer MD, MD(H), CCH

    Greg Meyer MD, MD(H), MSPH earned his Doctorate of Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, Illinois and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. His Masters of Science in Public Health /Epidemiology was completed at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago. He completed the certificate program in Classical Homeopathy at the American Medical College of Homeopathy, Phoenix. Currently he practices Classical Homeopathy in Phoenix and is a licensed homeopathy physician in Arizona, and is faculty at the American Medical College of Homeopathy in Phoenix. In addition, he is a staff physician in urgent care for Cigna Healthcare, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Urgent Care Medicine. In his spare time he does photography and world travel.   • Farokh Master MD

    Dr. Farokh Master was India’s First MD in Homeopathy who stood First Class First with a Gold Medal. He was the first Indian to be honoured by the House of Lords, UK for propagation of Homeopathic Systems of Medicine. Rated as Top 10 Best Homeopathic Doctors in the world by Pioneer University, Oxon U.K., and Members of the Board of the Pioneer Homoeopathic Academy of U.K and thereafter conferred the Honorary Doctorate of Homeopathy in 2006. Dr. Master has been independently practicing as a Homeopathic Physician at Mumbai’sHomeopathic Health Center, with over 29 years of experience in Homeopathic consultation and treatment. He was the first doctor India to introduce Homeopathy in Allopathic Modern Hospitals as well as in the private sector. First Indian Homeopath to start his own Homeopathy Schools in Europe & USA under the name of Dr. Farokh Master Summer School. This school is currently run in more than 6 countries. He has been recognized and acknowledged worldwide for his contributions in the Homeopathic treatment of patients with cancer at St Lukas Clinic of Tumor, Switzerland; the Madame Curie Institute of Cancer in Paris, France; the Chicago Children’s General Hospital, U.S.A., etc. He has been the recipient of several National and International Awards and Honors for outstanding contribution to Classical Homeopathy, Cancer & Homeopathy, Homeopathic Education and other alternative therapies.
