Faculty are at the core of AMCH. They bring extensive experience in homeopathy, clinical treatment and teaching to our programs. A core value of AMCH is the success of students. Faculty are critical to this aspect of our college, and are trained and encouraged to work with students to ensure their success.

Lauri Grossman, DC, CCH
A homeopath with a private practice in Manhattan, Lauri Grossman is also a thought leader and an advocate for humanizing medicine in the global healthcare discussion. When the holistic health movement was in its infancy in the 1980’s, she pioneered programs in integrative medicine that improved outcomes in hospitals and medical centers across America. Before the recent concerns about the safety of prescription medications, Grossman was training medical doctors and other health professionals in ways to modify treatment plans so as to avoid harmful side effects. Later on, she developed curricula in homeopathy for leading medical schools and teaching hospitals including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and New York University. An internationally renowned speaker, writer, and educator, Grossman was recently named Chair of the Healthcare Initiative for the Legends Institute and the United Global Leadership World Congress in 2011. She also serves as an Ambassador for Homeopaths Without Borders and has served in countries as diverse as France, Kenya, Tanzania, South Africa and Trinidad. She has been featured in The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and U.S. News and World Report and has appeared on Good Morning America and Fox and Friends. -

Thelma Rowe PsyD
Thelma Rowe, PsyD, received her Masters in Psychology from Saint Michael’s College in Winooski, Vermont, and her Doctorate in Psychology from Antioch New England Graduate School in Keene, New Hampshire. She is a licensed Psychologist in Arizona and has been in private practice since 1993. -

Kent Pomeroy MD, MD(H)
Kent Pomeroy, 1935-2012 was a gifted healer who used prolotherapy for pain management. He received a lifetime achievement award and was an honorary board member for the American Osteopathic Association of Prolotherapy Integrative Pain Management (AOAPIPM). He has mentored and trained doctors from around the world in prolotherapy and made a detailed training DVD to better assist them. Ruth Tam Lim MD, MD(H)
Dr. Ruth Tan Lim is a board certified practicing pediatrician in Mesa, Arizona since 1980. She practices integrative pediatrics. She graduated from the University of Singapore in 1968 and received the Master of Medicine Pediatrics in 1972. She immigrated to United States in 1975. She completed a residency at the Northshore University Hospital in Manhasset and in 1979 also a two year pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Babies Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, New York City, She is a strong supporter and life member of the Arizona Homeopathic Integrated Medical Association. In 1991 , she served in Operation Desert Storm, and in 2003, she retired from the Active Reserves, United States Military, Airforce, after serving 20 years 6 months. She has taught medical students from Midwestern and AT Still Medical Schools. Her practice offers a rotation to senior medical students from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine to experience integrated medicine. Since 1986, she teaches Holistic Health classes at Mesa Community College, in the community education department. She is a child advocate and in 1992, after returning from Operation Desert Storm founded the Children’s Benefit Foundation( CBF) to champion children. The mission of CBF Inc., is to enhance every child’s journey through life and to champion wellness and preventative care. She initiated Project Notch in 1992 to help children from families of the working poor. -

Doris Rapp MD, MD(H)
Doris Rapp, MD, MD(H) is a board-certified environmental medical specialist and pediatric allergist. She is also a homeopath. She served as Clinical Assistant Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the State University of New York at Buffalo until January 1996. She practiced traditional allergy medicine for 18 years. Roger Morrison MD
Dr. Morrison was born on February 21, 1954 at 10:21am in Rochester, NY. He grew up in Tennessee and attended medical school there, graduating in 1978. In his early career, he worked as an emergency room physician for several years. During this time Dr. Morrison also did much of the preparatory work for his calling as a homeopath. In 1978, while still in medical training, Dr. Morrison attended his first seminar on homeopathy in Athens. It was at this seminar that he determined to study at the Athenian Center for Homeopathic Medicine - the foremost center for homeopathy in the world. This center was created and run by the world's most renowned homeopath - George Vithoulkas. Dr. Morrison spent four years learning to speak Greek and then completed a two year fellowship at the center in Athens. During his stay, Dr. Morrison became one of the top assistants at the center, eventually earning the prestigious diploma of the Athenian Center. Upon completion of his fellowship in 1984, Dr. Morrison returned to the United States to assist in the establishment of the Hahnemann Medical Clinic and the Hahnemann College of Homeopathy. He divides his time between his practice at the clinic, teaching at the college and at other institutions and writing. Dr. Morrison lectures throughout the world on many aspects of homeopathy.Dr. Morrison has published some 20 articles in homeopathic journals throughout the world since 1984. -

Charles Schwengel, DO, DO(H) is one of the nation’s leading experts on developing treatment plans for people living with cancer. He has been in private practice since 1996, opening his first pain clinic in Columbia, MO, where he spent 5 years.
