Cathleen Rapp ND
Faculty Member; Academic Affairs ConsultantDr. Cathleen Michele Rapp (Dr. Cat) trained in naturopathic medicine at Bastyr University in Seattle, WA and holds a naturopathic doctor's license in the state of California. She has had a private practice utilizing naturopathic medicine and classical homeopathy, and has also worked in the dietary supplement industry as a researcher, writer, educator and product formulator of nutritional herbal and homeopathic products. As a Complementary and Alternative medicine consultant, Dr. Rapp's clients include Nordic Naturals, Pinnacle Care, the American Botanical Council and Natural Standard Research Collaboration. Dr. Rapp is a student in an amazing 2.5 year course in the Vital Sensation method of homeopathy offered by the California College of Homeopathic Education. She looks forward to practicing and teaching homeopathy armed with this new approach and expansive knowledge.
Sue Roe PhD
Faculty Member; Academic Affairs ConsultantDr. Roe was the managing partner of Performance Dimensions Consulting, LLC for over 15 years focusing on individual and work performance, management systems and competencies, strategic initiatives, workforce development, research, assessment, evaluation and training/instructional design and development. Currently, she is the Dean of Academic Affairs for the Chamberlain College of Nursing. Dr. Roe has a doctorate in public administration with an emphasis in administration and policy. She has additional graduate work in educational administration and instructional development and has a Masters and Bachelors degree in Nursing. With a background in senior administration, management, teaching, training, instructional system design, research and development, Dr. Roe possesses a diverse and wide range of experiences and expertise. Dr. Roe has conducted and/or facilitated well over 500 workshops, seminars, courses, and keynote presentations nationally, regionally, and locally on various topics including peak performance, strategic positioning and mapping, management, leadership, organizational systems, communication, health education and wellness, performance based and mastery learning, assessment, policy, adult education, and professionalism. She is currently involved in several projects that focus on assessment, outcomes evaluation, performance-based learning, teacher preparation, simulation and organizational/system transformation and re-design.
John Roos MD
Faculty Member; Academic Affairs ConsultantJohn Roos, MD graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1981. In 1984 he completed a preventive medicine residency at the Minnesota State Health Department and the University of Minnesota School of Public Health earning the degree of Master of Public Health. Dr. Roos has been a student of homeopathy since 1977. His initial training included the “Professional Training Course” offered by the National Center for Homeopathy and the “Postgraduate Training Program” of the International Foundation of Homeopathy. Later training included direct supervision and study with the world’s leading homeopathy practitioners and in particular with Massimo Mangialavori since 1998. Dr. Roos’s training in osteopathy began in 1978 at Michigan State University School of Osteopathy, followed by a fellowship in osteopathic manipulation at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He has also completed the “Professional Training Program” of the Sutherland Cranial Academy. Dr. Roos has been in private practice in homeopathic and osteopathic medicine since 1984. He has taught classes in homeopathic first aid and acute care, specializing in the need of women and children. He has lectured to medical students and provided a one year course to them on homeopathic material medica, case analysis and theory/philosophy/practices of alternative and complementary medicine. Dr. Roos is a passionate gardener/farmer and has worked with honey bees his entire life.
Summer Swanick NMD
Faculty Member; Academic Affairs ConsultantDr. Summer Swanick is a Naturopathic Medical Doctor licensed by the Arizona Naturopathic Physicians Medical Board, located in Tempe, AZ. She is an expert in natural medicine. She works with her patients on an individual basis to reverse chronic disease and restore health using clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, musculoskeletal techniques, spinal manipulation, and lifestyle counseling. She also specializes in immune system support for acute conditions such as a cold or flu, and will occasionally write a prescription for antibiotics, if necessary. Dr. Swanick provides naturopathic support in conjunction with your conventional care as a part of your medical team for those under the care of specialists for their medical conditions. She believes in working together to utilize the basic building blocks of life to restore your health, rebuild your body, and heal the spirit. Dr. Swanick graduated from the National College of Natural Medicine (NCNM), an accredited program by the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education. She has received the following: Honors from NCNM for her clinical research on a botanical treatment to improve female fertility The Homeopathic Medicine Certificate and Naturopathic Obstetrics Certificate for additional clinical and course work in those areas. Dr. Swanick further pursued her love for homeopathy by completing a certification program from the New England School of Homeopathy in 2009.

Mary Grace Warner MD, MD(H), CCH
Faculty Member; Dean of Medical CenterMary Grace Warner received her medical degree from the University of Michigan where she completed post-graduate training in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, followed by a research fellowship at the Cox Heart Institute, Dayton, Ohio. Then Medical Director of the School of Cardiovascular Ultrasound for sixteen years at the Arizona Heart Institute, Dr. Warner was a leader in vascular and cardiac ultrasound and one of the first physicians in Arizona to perform transesophageal echocardiography. For the following 10 years in her practice, Integrative Cardiology PLLC, in Scottsdale Arizona, Dr. Warner combined the best of conventional cardiology with holistic heart care. But the continued erosion of the art of medicine by insurance and pharmaceutical companies, as well as government guidelines for medical practice, led Dr. Warner to search for other paradigms of healing. In 2001, Dr. Warner began a healing and educational journey at the American Medical College of Homeopathy. In 2008 she received State of Arizona certification (MD(H) and in 2010, national certification (CCH). “I have always viewed the patient as a whole person experiencing an illness, rather than focusing only on the illness. In Homeopathy the whole person and his entire life are the basis of treatment.” Dr. Warner practices classical homeopathy and consults in cardiovascular diseases as needed.
Orville Weyrich ND, PhD
Faculty MemberOrville Weyrich has a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Duke University a PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, and an ND degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He is licensed in Arizona as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor. He has taught at various schools including the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, Auburn University, University of Georgia, Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and various campuses of the Maricopa Community College system. He practices naturopathic and integrative medicine from his office in Phoenix. He specialized in autoimmune diseases, autism, chronic diseases including fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue, as well as proctology.
Margaret Williams MD, MD(H)
Faculty MemberDr. Margaret Jean Williams specializes in the Medicine of Well-Being, integrating elements of psychiatry, medicine, shamanism, breath, heart centered meditation, dream work, sacred storytelling, nutrition, movement and healing touch and homeopathy. She graduated from LSU School of Medicine in Shreveport and completed residencies at UTMB in Galveston in Pediatrics and Psychiatry. She completed her Child and Adolescent Fellowship there as well. She is in her fourth decade of medical practice which has taken her see patients in private practice, hospitals, shelters, residential treatment facilities, university clinics, community mental health facilities, jails, prisons and children's prisons. She also taught psychiatry in a family practice residency program. Dr. Williams has been gifted with depth experiences in shamanic fields and shamanic initiations, ancient healing modalities, and the heart center exploring the deeper mysteries of what it means to be human, mysteries of the soul and the heart and what happens when we live too much in the mind, and how to return to the heart and body where our hearts and souls can blossom creating well-being. Her interests include continuing these explorations, painting, guitar, traveling, ranching, gardening and sharing her discoveries through talks, gatherings, workshops, and individual sessions.

Faculty MemberrMary Beth Ackerley MD, MD(H), ABIHM is a Harvard and Johns Hopkins trained board certified psychiatrist.
